How It All Started

Look, I'll be straight with you - we didn't start this shop because we read some business book. We started it because we were tired of watching European luxury vehicles getting treated like they're just another oil change.

Back in 2018, I was working at a big-name dealership here in North Van, and honestly? It was frustrating as hell. You'd see these beautiful BMWs, Audis, and Porsches rolling in, and they'd get the cookie-cutter treatment. No real diagnostics, just parts-swapping until something worked. That's not how you treat precision machinery.

So my partner Mike and I pooled everything we had - I mean EVERYTHING - and found this spot on Marine Drive. It wasn't pretty at first. We spent three months gutting the place, installing proper lifts, getting the diagnostic equipment that actually talks to these European systems the right way.

Seven years later, we're still here. Still obsessed with getting it right. We've grown from just the two of us to a team of eight technicians who actually give a damn about what they're working on.

The Journey So Far

2018
The Beginning

Opened our doors with two technicians, three lifts, and a dream. First customer was a 2015 BMW 335i with a mysterious misfire. Took us three days to nail down a software glitch the dealer missed. That car still comes in for service.

2019
Bosch Certified

Got our Bosch Master Technician certification. Had to send two guys down to Seattle for training, but worth every penny. Now we're speaking the same language as the engineers in Stuttgart.

2020
Expansion During the Chaos

Yeah, we expanded during a pandemic. Probably crazy, but people still needed their cars fixed. Added two more bays and brought on three more techs. Started specializing in performance tuning because, honestly, people wanted more fun during lockdown.

2021
Performance Division Launch

Officially launched our performance tuning services. Invested in dyno equipment and ECU programming tools. First Stage 2 tune was on an Audi S4 - gained 87hp to the wheels. Customer cried. Good tears, though.

2022
AMG & M-Power Specialists

Got certified for Mercedes-AMG and BMW M-Power vehicles. These aren't your regular luxury cars - they're precision instruments. Sarah, our lead tech, spent six weeks in Germany for specialized training. Now she can diagnose an M3 with her eyes closed.

2023
Customer Lounge Renovation

Realized our waiting area looked like a dentist's office from 1987. Complete overhaul - real espresso machine, comfortable seating, and a window where you can actually watch us work on your car. Transparency matters.

2024
Electric Vehicle Division

Started servicing European EVs - Porsche Taycan, Audi e-tron, BMW i4. The future's electric, and we're ready for it. Invested heavily in high-voltage training and equipment. You can't just wing it with 800-volt systems.

Today & Tomorrow

We're still that same shop that cares about getting it right. Eight techs now, state-of-the-art equipment, and a customer base that feels more like family. We've worked on over 3,200 vehicles, and yeah, we remember most of them. That's what happens when you actually care.

Meet the Team (Sort Of)

We could give you the whole LinkedIn treatment with headshots and bios, but that's not really us. Here's what you need to know:

  • Mike (Co-Owner): The guy who can diagnose a misfire just by listening. Twenty-three years in European automotive. Still gets excited about a tricky electrical problem.
  • Sarah (Lead Tech): AMG and M-Power specialist. Spent time at the Nurburgring learning how these cars are meant to perform. Don't challenge her to a track day unless you're ready to lose.
  • James (Performance Division): If it needs a tune, he's your guy. ECU whisperer. Has a Porsche 911 Turbo project car that's... let's just say it's very quick.
  • Chen (Diagnostics): The puzzle master. Loves the impossible cases. Once tracked down an intermittent fault that had stumped three dealerships. Took him two weeks, but he got it.
  • The Rest of the Crew: Four more techs who know their stuff, love what they do, and won't stop until your car's running exactly how it should.
